Install

cargo install ignition-cli

(or grab a prebuilt binary from the releases — macOS arm64/x86_64, Linux x86_64/arm64). Requires Rust 1.88+ when building from source. The binary is ign.

Agent harnesses can also install the playbook: the ignition-ops skills (5 SKILL.md files — contract, gateway, tags, workspace, rigs) ride any skills-CLI-compatible agent:

npx skills add TheThoughtagen/ignition-cli -g

Claude Code can alternatively load them as a plugin (see Agent transports below).
